Lawyer Referral Service
When you need help finding a lawyer or a paralegal, visit www.findlegalhelp.ca
Request a referral online and the Law Society Referral Service will give you the name of a lawyer or paralegal, if we have a match available, who will provide a free consultation of up to 30 minutes to explore your options.
A crisis line is available Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The crisis line is intended for people who would like a referral to a legal representative but are unable to use the online service (such as those in custody, in a shelter, or in a remote community without access to the internet). You can also ask to be referred to a lawyer or paralegal who speaks languages other than English or French, or a lawyer who accepts Legal Aid Ontario certificates.
